About Samaritan House
- WHAT IS THE SAMARITAN HOUSE
It is a non-profit corporation comprised of six partner churches for the distribution of donated food and grocery products and clothes to needy citizens in our neighborhood.
It is governed by a Board of Directors elected from the community and the partner churches.
The church partners are:
- Augusta Road Baptist
- Augusta Heights Baptist
- Church of the Redeemer Episcopal
- Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic
- Trinity United Methodist
- Westminster Presbyterian
- MISSION STATEMENT
The Mission of the Samaritan House is to serve the people in this community by providing for some their basic needs for food and clothing. This is in obedience to Christ’s command and example. We believe in caring for "the least of these. . ." in His name.
